cameras, a leading company in the global energy sector plans to automate
the detection of problems in their electrical distribution lines in
Spain.
UAV Navigation will supply the AP04 autopilot for the control of all
of Alpha Unmanned Systems UAV’s (the company that will provide the
helicopters).
Alpha Unmanned Systems will supply two units of the Sniper II. With
its 2.5 meters of rotor diameter, it has an endurance of almost 3 hours
with a payload of up to 10 kg.
While finalizing the set up of the Sniper II, tests have already
begun, carrying out video inspections with its younger brother, the
Sniper. It has flown automatically with the two types of camera over a
stretch of power line with a superb picture quality.
