New Year 2022 corporate video

Tobias Webster and Miguel Ángel de Frutos, Managing Director and CTO of UAV Navigation, talk about the challenges we will face during 2022.

Tobias Webster - UAV Navigation Managing Director:

"Hello everyone. First of all, we hope this message finds you and your families safe and well and that you have been able to minimize the negative impacts of COVID on your businesses.

Here in UAV Navigation, we are happy to report that we are all well and we continue to work remotely.

Last year was another challenging year for us and of course the main gear for us was the major investment in July 2021 by Grupo Oesia, a spanish group of companies focus on aeronautics, space and defense technologies.

There are two main things to say about this."

Miguel Ángel de Frutos - CTO:

"Firstly, the investment will not change us. UAV Navigation will work very hard together with our new partner and customers to continue to develop cutting-edge technology.

We are committed to play a leading role in the global UAV sector. Not only that, but mainly, we will focus mainly on increasing the autonomy level of our current system.

We seek to have a smarter system capable of surviving in real complex and difficult scenarios such as marine operations, formation flights or advanced mission replanning."

Tobias Webster - UAV Navigation Managing Director:

"Secondly, the investment recognizes just how far UAV Navigation has come since its inception in 2004 and give us access to important national level defense programs such as the Future Combat Air System (FCAS) which we are now working on with our colleagues of Oesia.

The team is growing, in fact we have just signed up another aeronautical engineer. 2022 is set to be another busy year.

We wish all our clients, partners and supplies a very prosperous year and we are already looking forward to working with you all."
