Unlocking UAV Swarming Missions
The system supports handover functionality, enabling the seamless transfer of control over a UAV from one Ground Control Station (GCS) to another, even when these stations are located in different geographical areas. This capability extends to both ground and aerial control stations, facilitating flexible operational strategies and enhancing mission continuity.
The UAV Navigation-Grupo Oesía flight control system incorporates advanced mission planning tools that facilitate the rapid and efficient setup of flight plans and pre-flight testing. These innovative tools are designed to streamline the entire planning process, allowing operators to quickly configure complex missions with precision.
The VECTOR family of autopilots features target engagement with bullseye precision capability that provides terminal guidance during target engagement phases.
The system also incorporates Optical Terminal Guidance, providing terminal guidance for attritable platforms through a camera-guided mode, made possible by the seamless integration of the camera and autopilot systems along with dynamic tracking of the target.
The Mission Control Computer (MCC) interface is designed to execute the higher autonomy layers of the swarm, allowing for complex mission management in a segregated computer environment.
The system incorporates an Aiming PTU + Multi PTU Aiming feature, which is an extension of Visionair that enables precise aiming of Pan-Tilt Units (PTUs). This advanced capability enables an extended communication antenna range for enhanced targeting accuracy by automatically adjusting the orientation of the PTUs based on real-time data and mission parameters.
